Great news for all you who own business mobile phones; Facebook 1.6 for the Blackberry is rumored to be released this Thursday, 28th May with other model's versions not too far behind. But before you get too excited this is thought to be the official launch date and we all now that the developers at RIM could change the date at the drop of a hat so we'll have to play this one by ear.

With the arrival of FaceBook 1.6 comes some useful updates as well, including:

Lets hope 1.6 sees a better launch than it's predecessor; FaceBook 1.5 was delayed loads of times and even had issues once on the market. That aside, you can bet that countless business mobile phone dealers are itching to use the latest version of mobile Facebook in their sales pitch. And with millions of business users worldwide, Facebook 1.6 will no doubt become a major part of both online business mobile phone deals and in-store offerings.
